Musicians use brains more efficiently
People who play a musical instrument, make efficient use of their brains and are better able to think creatively than people without musical training According to a U.S. study.

Scientists at Vanderbilt University in Nashville organized an experiment where subjects and musically educated people without musical training performed the same creative assignments. Creative and associative Participants in the test example had to invent new uses for old household items.
They also played word games where the aim was to link words whenever possible. Associations soon became clear that the musicians with more and more imaginative solutions than were the non-musical subjects. Of additional brain showed that the musicians also used their brains more efficient times the commands.
The results of the experiment have been published in the American scientific journal Brain and Cognition.
